Mandala Pooja Celebration Sasthapreethi 2025

The day at Sri Sankara Mattham’s 3rd Mandala Pooja celebration on 23rd November 2025 at Matunga, Mumbai, began with the Maha Ganapathy Homam, a sacred fire ritual invoking Lord Ganesha’s blessings for auspiciousness and success. This was followed by the Rudraabhishekham, a powerful ritual honoring Lord Shiva through chanting and sacred baths. Devotees then performed an Archanai (offering of flowers) to Lord Sastha (Ayyappa), symbolically offering flowers to the 18 steps that represent the 18 sacred steps at the Sabarimala Sannidhanam pilgrimage site. The rituals of Deeparadhana created an atmosphere of divine light and devotion. The spiritual experience was enhanced by devotional bhajans performed by the Dombivli Bhajana Samajam, filling the environment with sacred chants and music. The annadhanam was also followed on by the same providing sumptuous food to the devotees.
