Chair for Sanskrit at the Mumbai University

A Chair for Advaita Vedanta at the University of Mumbai commemorating Acharya T A Venkateswara Dikshitar has been instituted.

TAV Dikshidar prize is awarded annualy to students scoring the highest and second highest marks in Zala Vedanta at the MA degree of Mumbai University – Department of Sanskrit.
This practive has started from 2006 and is done every year.
